  1. Carolyn and Yoshimi,
I've so enjoyed your photo maisonette blog, I've looked forward to it ever since you both started it, delighting in the images, sometimes so in touch one with the other, and sometimes at extremes. At times I would make myself wait a few days, and use the visit as dessert. Thank you for doing this blog, I shall miss it now, but at least I enjoy both your other blogs of your skilled sewing. I've learned a lot from both of you. Thanks,
    Jeannie in Seattle

  2. This is the last post for photo maisonette, isn't it? I have enjoyed this project since the two of you started it. Sometimes your photos have been unrelated or in contrast to each other, but so often there has been some kind of correspondence, whether in an obvious way, like flowers or birds, or in an indirect way, like containers, modern technology, or shiny things (which I seem to recall was some kind of candied fruit and a sports car). I found this very interesting, since I think you did not coordinate ahead of time. I would have commented now and then, but I did not see that anyone else was doing so (?). Anyway, congratulations on having carried out an interesting and thought-provoking project.

    1. Thank you so much, Patricia, for your comment! As for the correspondence of our photos of the day, I feel exactly same as you do! We never talked about what to upload beforehand at all. However, we experience more than some interesting days, indeed. Life is full of wonders, isn't it? :)

  5. Dear Mesdammes,
These photos throughout the year have been so much fun and so very enjoyable. There has always been some correlation between the two which just goes to show that you both are kindred spirits and/or people are people no matter where they hail from. It will be fun to review the photos. Thank you for sharing your friendship with us and your love of photography and of course your love of sewing.
    Best regards,
    Jamie

    1. Dear Jamie, your comments have been very much appreciated!! Yes, it will be fun to review the photos, I think so too! We actually made a set of some small photo books to review our photos "off-line" and I'm editing the last book at the moment. It is quite fun too.
